Wire flame spraying

Wire flame spraying

In wire flame spraying, the spray material is melted in wire form in an oxy-acetylene flame and propelled onto the component by compressed air support. Particle velocities on impact with the component are approximately 200 m/s.

There is a wide range of metallic and non-metallic spray materials for a wide variety of applications. Depending on the component, high coating thicknesses can be achieved.
